Disability Appeal Planning Session
Our Free Denial Letter Review tells you what you and your doctors need to do for the appeal. Our free guide, “Recover Your Benefits: Keys to Successfully Navigating the Disability or Life Insurance Process” tells you how the appeal process works. Especially when cost is an issue, that can be all the guidance you need to work with your doctors and build your appeal on your own.
But often, even knowing what to do and how to do it doesn’t give you the boost you need to actually get your appeal up and running. That’s what Appeal Coaching and Appeal Writing are for, and they start with a Disability Appeal Planning Session.
Start by sending us any additional background information about your claim that you’d like us to have, plus any medical records or other material that you believe will support your appeal. Next, schedule a time with us for a phone or video conference to discuss everything and map out your appeal.
We’re here for any questions that come up as you work through the appeal plan, as Appeal Coaching and Appeal Writing continue our support to develop your strongest appeal and bring it to the finish line.
How It Works
Every Disability Appeal Planning Session starts with a free denial letter review. For that, we’ll need a copy of your denial letter and some background information about your claim. Our initial review normally takes 2-3 business days.
When the initial review is complete, we will send you a report about what we think went wrong for your claim and what we see as your next steps for an appeal. We’ll identify areas where we think you will need to dispute the insurance company’s version of your claim, as well as places where we think you’ll need to add additional evidence. We’ll tell you specifically what Appeal Coaching can add to your appeal. There is no charge for this initial review and report.
When you are ready to move forward, choose Appeal Coaching (you write, we review) or Appeal Writing (we write, you review). Next, we’ll schedule a time to hold the initial Planning Session via telephone or video conference, whichever you prefer.
In the Disability Appeal Planning Session, we’ll discuss your denial letter and our initial report, plan for how to develop the additional evidence and support that you need, and answer any questions you have about your claim and the appeal process.
You will leave the Disability Appeal Planning Session with clear, practical guidance for the steps to take next to build your appeal. Appeal Coaching and Appeal Writing will see you through to the finish line.
